Skip the line tour!

Within the Vatican Museums is a true city-full representation of paintings, antique and modern sculptures, tapestries and most of all frescoes, such as the Sistine Chapel ceiling of Michelangelo and the Raphael Rooms. You can’t say you’ve been to Rome without having first visited the Vatican Museums!

Our professional guide will lead you through a breathtaking walk inside the  Museum, from the Pine Cone courtyard to Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel. You will be introducted to the masterpieces housed in the Vatican Museum collection: paintings, tapestries, classical and modern statues and finally you will reach the Sistine Chapel. This famous site was built at the end of the 15th century and it was decorated by great Italian masters like Botticelli, Perugino and Ghirlandaio. Later, Michelangelo was called by the Pope Giulio II to cover with frescoes the ceiling and the wall above the altar with “The Last Judgement”.

Directly from the Sistine Chapel you will be guided to St. Peter’s Basilica, the centre of Christianity and vessel of great masterpieces. You will admire the famous, central altar made by the genius of Baroque art, Gianlorenzo Bernini, directly above the tomb of St. Peter; the statue of Pietà (the Virgin with dead Christ) by Michelangelo; and series of ancient papal monuments and mosaics.
